    Barbara Coloroso is an internationally recognized speaker and author in the areas of parenting, teaching, school discipline, non-violent conflict resolution and reconcilia-tory justice. She is an educational consultant for school districts, the medical and business community, the criminal justice system and other educational associations around the world.

    Barbara has served as a classroom teacher, a laboratory school instructor, and a uni-versity instructor. She is the author of five international bestsellers.

    Barb will be working with all district staff during the day of September 2, work with community and family members that evening and then work with our students grades 5 through 12 on their first day back to school. We are thrilled to be starting off the year providing framework to ensure an environment based on respect.

  • Jr. /Sr. High School Upcoming Events:

    The Jr. /Sr. High School will be conducting required informational meetings for parents and students in grades 6-12 for prior to the start of the 2015-16 school year. Please note each session is divided into different grade levels. All sessions will be held in the JSHS Auditorium at the designated times listed.


    • August 25, 2015: Review of iPad, internet use policies and student handbook.            
    • Session 1: 6-7:00 PM:  For students in grades 6 & 7. 
    • 7th graders and parents will receive additional information on required course offerings and schedules from 7-7:30 PM. 
    • Session 2: 7:30-8:30 PM: For students in grades 8 & 9.


    • August 26, 2015: Review of iPad and internet use policies.

    Session 1:  6-7:00 PM: For students in grades 10&11.

    Session 2:  7-8:00 PM: For students in grade 12.

Top 3 Seniors
 Fun was had by all at Salvatore's Italian Gardens on Thursday, May 21st for the 2015 Scholastic Achievement Recognition Dinner honoring the top three students from area high schools in Western New York.  Featured in the picture from left to right are Board of Education President, Taina Hoffman, Holland Superintendent, Cathy Fabiatos, the top three students, Madison Scheffler, Kelsey Stirk, Alexandra Izydorczak, and Jr./Sr. High School Principal, Carl Guidotti.  The evening was inspirational with a keynote address from 97's Rock's Larry Norton.
