A: Students are monitored on a daily basis through the use of informal notes and observations. On a weekly basis, students are progress monitored using an assessment tool called AIMS Web as well as the assessments provided by Scott Foresman.
Q: How do I know if my child needs AIS?
A: Students qualify for AIS through teacher recommendations, NYS test scores, a change in performance in the classroom, Scott Foresman baseline assessments, running records, and AIMS Web scores.
